September Photo Diary

At the end of the summer, I began a photographic project where I aimed to capture the ‘spirit’ of the end of the year and document the often unnoticed moments in life. Here are the snapshots from September 2013. All images were taken using Kodak film with an ISO of 800.

Stay tuned for pictures from October, November and December!

2013 Blues Music Awards Weekend: Hard Rock Cafe Memphis, & Rum Boogie Cafe

Saturday May 11, 2013 was a party from sunrise to sunset! First stop was Hard Rock Cafe, Memphis where I witnessed such tremendous talent congregate on one stage. King Fish, a newcomer to the blues scene, stunned the audience with his guitar playing and vocals that one would never expect from a 14 yr old.

By nightfall, Beale Street was alive with the spirit of the blues-check out the amazing video footage of the performances @ the Rum Boogie Cafe!

Stay tuned! Up next tomorrow is photo/video of our trip to Helena, Arkansas and show highlights from Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, Mississippi.

Love and Devotion

As football fans cheer for their favorite teams, I’m busy doing my own victory dance over these beautiful floral boots- a new and much loved addition to my wardrobe.

I flipped out when I tried on these babies and found that they fit like a glove (and only took a 20 out of my wallet!!!) Talk about a great find!
I paired them with skin-tight olive jeggings and this trippy (but still sophisticated) iridescent blouse, that I bought in downtown Phoenix for only 3 dollars!
