Discussing a few Feminism myths.
*The examples that I used about why men choose to identifyas Feminists are very brief, there are many more reasons men are Feminists, that are of much more consequence*
*Feminism is trying to liberate women, girls, and people who identify as a woman- and liberate men from oppression in the process!*
First video of a series of discussions (there will be articles and personal writing as well) about Feminism. I tried to keep it to the point, enjoy!
At the end of the summer, I began a photographic project where I aimed to capture the ‘spirit’ of the end of the year and document the often unnoticed moments in life. Here are the snapshots from September 2013. All images were taken using Kodak film with an ISO of 800.
Stay tuned for pictures from October, November and December!

Saturday May 11, 2013 was a party from sunrise to sunset! First stop was Hard Rock Cafe, Memphis where I witnessed such tremendous talent congregate on one stage. King Fish, a newcomer to the blues scene, stunned the audience with his guitar playing and vocals that one would never expect from a 14 yr old.
By nightfall, Beale Street was alive with the spirit of the blues-check out the amazing video footage of the performances @ the Rum Boogie Cafe!
Stay tuned! Up next tomorrow is photo/video of our trip to Helena, Arkansas and show highlights from Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, Mississippi.

I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the 2013 Blues Music Awards in Memphis, TN. The week-long trip included much sightseeing, and visits to popular local nightclubs to watch amazing musical performances in Tennessee, and Mississippi.
I also visited Cherry Street-a historical entertainment district located in Helena, Arkansas. I met so many talented blues musicians and singers, such as: Diunna Greenleaf, John Primer, Cassie Taylor, and Mud Morganfield – to name a few. Here is the photo documentation of my trip! There are more photographs to come (as well as video) so stay tuned!
